The movie begins with the birth of the protagonists, Shiva and Jennifer "Jenny" aka Selvi, in Calcutta and Kuttralam in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu respectively. During the course of their childhood, they encounter each other a couple a times, though both don't know each other. At the same time, Jenny wants to pursue her post-graduation, but this is opposed by her father Pandiyan, who wants her to get married. But when Jenny's marriage gets cancelled as the groom runs away on the night before the wedding to elope with his lover, Pandiyan agrees to Jenny pursuing higher studies, on the condition that she gets married once she completes her education.

Meanwhile, Ambareesh tries to get Shanthi forcibly married to someone else. Shiva finds out and sneaks Shanthi out of the wedding hall, thus stopping the wedding. Shanthi and Babu get married at a register office with the support of Shiva and Jenny. Before leaving for their honeymoon, Babu and Shanthi advise them to sort out their relationship. When both Shiva and Jenny complete their post-graduation and leave for their respective hometowns, they attempt to contact each other by phone to declare their love, but fail. Shiva rushes to the Chennai Egmore railway station (where Jenny is to board a train to Tirunelveli), while at the same time, Jenny goes to the Chennai Central railway station (where Shiva is to board a train to Calcutta). They miss each other, but they write a letter declaring their love for each other and hand it over to their co-passengers on the train which they are respectively going to board. Jenny reaches her village the following morning in a sad mood, but soon is in for a surprise; she is to marry none other than Shiva that day. Shiva had read Jenny's letter and then informed Pandiyan about their relationship, who agreed to get them married. The movie ends with Shiva and Jenny happily hugging and kissing each other.
It will search for and display the results right below the video. Make sure that you are connected to the internet while you try to get the subtitles automatically. When you hit the download subtitles button, VLC Media Player app for Android will look for the closed captions file online. So, you have to be connected for it to search. If it finds the matching file, it will add the captions to the currently playing movie instantly. You will see the on-screen text appear right there which will help you understand the movie better. The second option present there, Select subtitle file, is to browse and load up subtitles locally.
Since the last update, in September I think, on android tv is no chance to load the subtitles. Are 3 dots where is the option to select the subtitle file but with the tv remote is no way to get to the 3 dots.
The download does not work. When I tap on download subtitles a list of subtitles for the movie appears but none of them downloads. Tapping on them makes an orange circle appear to the right and it keeps spinning forever
I downloaded the subtitles automatically and checked if its in sync. When I found its all good, I closed the app. After few hours or few days when its time to watch the movies, all subtitles are gone. Was not connected to net. Im using F1 pocophone.
When adding subtitles (.srt) manually, is there a way I can make the language show up in the subtitle select menu? The files are named so this works on PC (movie.EN.srt), so it would be nice if I can make them show up with the language instead of Track 1, Track 2 etc.
HiThanks for this option . Bit defenetlly is not working i try everything and not work please let me know that to do . If it is that easy just press download and load the subtitle alway say subtitle not found i try a lot of mobies . We can select server to download the subtitles woh works exactlly..?
While reading up on "The Vow", I learned that professional reviewers didn't particularly care for this film. The same can be said for many of the IMDb reviews. While I would disagree, since I really enjoyed the film, I can certainly understand some of the dislike. For folks wanting a traditional romantic film, "The Vow" isn't exactly a date movie. A traditional date film has a formula--including a happy ending. And, oddly, the film ends on a hopeful but vague note--disappointing those needing the happy finale. In addition to reading up on the reviews, I also looked into the story of Kimand Krickitt Carpenter--the couple whose real life story inspired this film. I say inspires because so much of the film is fictional and the religious faith of the Carpenters was omitted in "The Vow". It's sad, as although you don't want a preachy film, it's odd how in films today there is NO reference to God or almost none and this might have been an interesting addition to the movie. Now on to the film. The story, if you don't know, is about a newly married couple who are in a terrible traffic accident. Leo (Channing Tatum) is okay but his wife, Paige (Rachel McAdams) is left in a coma. Oddly, when she awakens, she has a strange sort of amnesia where the most recent portion of her life is missing. This means she has no idea who her husband is and their time together is, naturally, quite uncomfortable and awkward. At the same time, Paige's no longer existent relationship with her parents is suddenly given a second chance and they work hard to recapture her love and make her the girl she used to be. What will become of poor Leo? The two leads, McAdams and Tatum were quite good in the film and easy to watch. The script rather clever and enjoyable. And, overall I have very little negative to say about the film. Well worth seeing--just be forewarned that although there is a lot of romance in the film, it is not at all traditional or what you might expect from such a movie.
This movie was essentially like a mediocre version of a Nicholas Sparks book-to-film movie. The acting was great but the execution just wasn't there. Rachel McAdams' character seemed pretty stupid and, given that it's a true story, it just makes it seem even more dumb. There have got to be 1000 such stories with "smarter" people involved or better endings. The fact that this movie was based on one with a moronic character and a mediocre ending shows just how masochist viewers are. The movie is slow, not emotional enough given the subject matter, and just in general not all that good. The only emotional part of the movie was the scene with Paige (McAdams' character) interacting with her mom near the end of the movie. For a film about a girl who loses her memory and therefore the memory of the love of her life, this movie was pretty blah. The movie wasn't terrible but it definitely doesn't reach the elite chick-flick level.
